I started at Fatso's doing audio for local live cable TV shows on Arlington Telecable produced by Robert Wheaton. We probably did 20 or more of these shows. Then I filled in part time while still trying to keep the studio going. I met Robert Earl Keen here and ended up doing lots of other work with him at places like The Sons Of Hermann Hall and the Scott Theater in Fort Worth. The club had just been sold and the new owners were not really experienced in the business and it was on the downslide. They started closing for lunch and reduced the nights they were open and didn't last long after that.
